RAZOR AQUATICS SWIM TEAM
Razor Aquatics is a Metro Detroit swim team dedicated to increasing diversity in our sport. Our program has produced some incredible swimmers in our area. We look to continue that process and increase our positive results. Our team is about far more than achieving high quality results in the pool however. We focus on developing strong character in our athletes through instilling powerful discipline habits, honesty, integrity, and perseverance.

OUR ANNUAL FUNDRAISER
Our team holds a single fundraiser every year. We do one big fundraising effort rather than holding multiple smaller scale fundraisers throughout the year. This allows our focus to remain on training our athletes throughout the year.
Our annual fundraiser is essential to helping us offset our annual program costs. We are an independent, self-funded swim program that incurs tens of thousands of dollars in expenses every year. This annual fundraiser allows us to provide ample training time, a high quality training program, resources, and competitive and social opportunities for our families while still remaining affordable.
The support from our community means a great deal to us. Our supporters allow us to build strong swimmers and even stronger people. We sincerely appreciate everyone that contributes to our fundraiser.
HOW THE LASER TAG TOURNAMENT FUNDRAISER WORKS
Each family on our team partners up with another family on the team to raise funds together for 29 days. The more funds they raise during that period, the higher their team’s point multiplier will be in the laser tag tournament at the end of the fundraiser. The point multiplier is the number their team’s score will be multiplied by in the laser tag tournament. So the more funds each team raises, the higher their chances of winning in the laser tag tournament.
The winning team will earn a weekend trip to either Miami, Atlanta, or Chicago. Team members will also have the opportunity to earn other prizes in the tournament based on their scores. Weekly prizes are also distributed to the weekly leaders during the 29 days of fundraising.
This year’s laser tag tournament will take place on Saturday, April 6 at 9:00am.
